When I am sad I bake chocolate chip cookies because baking them reminds me of cooking with my youngest son, Seth. I am going to take the cookies to a friend tomorrow whose son took his own life Sunday night. As Christopher Robin said to Pooh, “Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
